Dexter Reloaded – The Oke Karaoke
As Dexter approached the age of 50 he decided to put his plan to do a full concert using backing tracks he had recorded himself into action.
The event was staged at Dexter’s farm in Waikaretu on the weekend on November 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2006
Dexter sent out an invitation to all his friends and family and set about re-recording his old songs and a few covers to perform.
Invitations were also sent to Dexter’s old band mates from the punk rock days and Dave Arrowsmith and Warren Cate got in behind the event and also joined Dexter on stage for a set of the old songs.
