Amphetamine
Obviously influenced by the likes of G N R and Velvet Revolver, the songs on display from this band are still very Kiwi in their lyric content, and delivery. This band displays a sound of its own and an energy to match. They are well worth a listen.
Based in Auckland, they are developing a fan base basically on the strength of their song writing. Show casing twin guitars, driving bass and energetic drumming, melodic yet strong vocals sitting on top of good song structure, they grab attention and hold it right till the end of the song. Their first album is due out before the end of the year.
