Bulldogs Call For Shorter Working Hours?

Following the Bulldogs 78th minute collapse in recent matches Bulldogs Players Union Delegate Matt O’Finish has called for shorter working hours for his members. The Bulldog Union wants the second half to be reduced to 35 minutes in future and in return they will not ask for win bonuses to be increased.

Bulldogs sources remained tight-lipped about the scheme saying only that they didn’t want to let people know how supportive they were of the proposals.

The plan follows the Bulldogs v Newcastle (Newcastle try – 78th minute) v Warriors (Warriors try – 78th minute) and v Eels (Eels try – 78th minute) collapses that has made the team the laughing stock of the NR-Hell.

The latest joke doing the rounds is that the Bulldogs have signed Hopoate, such is the feeling of despair that has descended on the fans.

Police say they are doing all they can to contain the fans ‘and more’.

David Morefat said he was impressed with the arguments put forward by a group of Dogfans who collared him about the clubs problems at this weekends game. “They made some very good points under the circumstances, but in the end I was happy to see them batoned”.

Reducing the second half could be the only option to the coach, who himself went spare at the ref this week, as he trys to come to terms with the fact that the Bulldogs needs to be able to say the word ‘Field Goal’ in public and not face howls of derisive laughter.
