John Doe
Rockhampton Police are today appealing to the public for help in identifying a John Doe who has turned up on their doorstep penniless and looking for a place to stay.
Police feel sure that someone somewhere will know the man and hope by publishing the photo someone somewhere will be able to put a name to the face.
Pictured here with Rockhampton Constable Ray Daffan the John Doe speaks little English and claims to simply find a place to ‘get away from it all’.
As Constable Daffan said “I’m pretty sure I’ve seen his face before but can’t quite place him.”
“He’s a pretty nice bloke in many ways” continued Daffan, “He really likes Bob Dylan and is always talking about his Infidels album which is a favorite of mine so we have many things in common”
“He hates Wests too and I’ve never been much of a fan of the Magpies”.
Anyone knowing the name of the John Doe is asked to contact their local police station or neighborhood watch coordinator.
