Police at the Sydney Olympics have warned they may take industrial action over the small portions of food they receive at Games sites, it was reported today.
Two unnamed police officers were quoted complaining about the amount of food they were being served.
“It’s not on as far as our mob is concerned” said a member of the force.
“So far the cookie boys have only given us sheila sized plates, as if we are all bloody poofters or something”
“We are grown men and need a proper feed”
“Also the less we get for free the less we can flog off to our friends for a bit of a perk”
Games officials hoped to resolve the crisis with some well placed bribes.
